Meet Dr. Clark

Dr. Pamela Clark is a native of Pearland, graduating from Pearland High School in 1992 as the Salutatorian. She went on to Texas A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1996. During high school, college and dental school, Dr. Clark volunteered with multiple organizations and events focusing on children including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Big Brother Club, tutoring at-risk children, and participating in a mission trip to Mexico to educate children about oral health. Through all of these activities, she knew she wanted to work with children. In 2000, Dr. Clark obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at the Houston Dental Branch. She entered dental school with the goal and desire of becoming a pediatric dentist. In 2002, she earned her Pediatric Dental Certificate after completing a two year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Clark completed her written board exam and her oral board exam to receive her Diplomate status of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006.

Dr. Clark is involved in numerous dental organizations which promote research, education, prevention and restoration of dental diseases. Among these are the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She is the past president of the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She enjoys volunteering her time for these organizations by serving on committees and participating in community events for children.

Dr. Clark has received numerous honors and awards for her professional accomplishments. She has been honored with the Texas Dental Association Outstanding Senior Dental Student Award, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Runner-up in Graduate Student Poster Presentation, the American Society of Dentistry for Children Certificate of Merit, and the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence (for leadership and service to school and community).

Dr. Clark and her husband happily welcomed their first daughter in April 2007, Elizabeth Susan and their second daughter in December of 2008, Laurel Christine. As a family, they enjoy traveling to visit family and friends and playing outdoors. Elizabeth also enjoys trying to catch their cat, Phoebe.
